2D Animation is a rapidly evolving industry, we can already see the VFX effects in movies getting more and more realistic each year. This is where 2D animation acts as the foundation and our course is designed to master this art of 2D animation. It helps develop strong fundamentals in animation which will become useful when going for a higher course such as 3D animation, game design etc.

2D animation encompases movement of characters in a two dimensional space. It is one of the traditional animations which starts with basic paper drawing. 2D objects can only be measured in height and length not in depth.

In this course using two dimensional models and skilled technique you will be able to general digital images of interesting characters and move characters and background frame by frame. You will also receive the knowledge and learning of the basic working of traditional animation to develop your artistry which will help in the execution of the 2D images be it by hand drawing or digital art.

This program has been developed considering the current market needs in the world. The students are expected to have a passion for art and good sketching and drawing skills. Students will learn all aspects of 2D animation film making from pre-production, production and post production.

In the initial stage students will learn the fundamentals of Art and design starting from drawing on page, character design, background painting, character animation, audio and video editing using the latest animation tools.
